As Chief Executive Officer, I am passionate about partnering with individuals, providers, and regional centers on a variety of impactful projects. My focus is on developing an exceptional team dedicated to advocacy and the empowerment of others, helping them live meaningful lives that align with their personal choices, all while contributing to the evolution of the Developmental Disability Services System. I take pride in setting strategic goals, creating actionable plans to achieve them, overseeing daily operations, and making thoughtful decisions. Above all, I love working to fulfill our mission and leading by example every step of the way.
I started out working as a paraprofessional for two different school districts. I then advanced to become a service coordinator for a local regional center, where I was then promoted to Resource Developer/Quality Assurance Specialist. While in this role, I developed programs for individuals moving out of Lanterman Developmental Center and helping/monitoring them during this transition. After 9 years at the regional center, I decided to transition in a different direction, as I felt a calling to obtain experience working for provider organizations. In this chapter of my career, I was the Project Director overseeing the design team in their development of new programs and refurbishment of existing programs. After a few years as Project Director, I progressed to be the Director of Quality Assurance for another provider, overseeing all California and Nevada programs. From there, I proceeded to become the Director of Community Services for a Southern California regional center. With all of this experience, and big dreams for this industry, I made the decision to start Thrive Consultant Group to provide the very best supports to individuals and families, service providers and regional centers. I feel so fortunate to have created Thrive Consultant Group, as well as having built an amazing team who are knowledgeable in a vast variety of different areas/specialties and with phenomenal experience in the field to better support you in your journey to thrive!
As for my personal interests & hobbies, I love traveling, playing cards, spending time with family (Particularly my husband and two sons), and swimming!
My favorite part about building and working for Thrive Consultant Group is working with an incredible group of people dedicated to helping others Thrive, as we believe strongly in “nothing about us, without us.” I appreciate building meaningful connections with others to enhance their programs, being creative, thinking outside of the box, and making impactful changes in our world!
